I help equity investors, syndicators, and lenders navigate the affordable housing and community development landscape, particularly transactions that leverage low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) and other tax credit incentives nationwide.These deals rarely involve just one funding source. Most of my clients are balancing federal and state LIHTCs, tax-exempt bonds, soft debt, and various state and local funding programs. I guide them through the entire lifecycle—from initial deal structuring and closing through the tax credit compliance period—helping them spot potential issues early and solve them efficiently.My focus is on getting ahead of problems before they derail a transaction. That means conducting thorough due diligence upfront, identifying legal, tax, and transaction risks while there\'s still time to address them cost-effectively. I also draft the equity transaction documentation that keeps these deals moving and ensures my clients hit their business objectives.
