About Nicole Pelaez
Nicole is currently a junior at Baruch College, majoring in Finance, with a minor in Economics. She has a strong passion for personal finance and is actively working towards securing a Wealth Management internship. Nicole\'s interest in finance was sparked by her childhood experiences in an entrepreneurial environment, as her parents started their own business in 2007. This early exposure to managing both company and personal finances greatly influenced her interest in the field.At Baruch College, Nicole is actively involved in several finance and networking clubs, including Scholars of Finance, ALPFA, and SEO. She appreciates the learning and networking opportunities these organizations provide. Physical activity is also important to her, which is why she joined the Baruch Cross Country Team. Outside of her academic and extracurricular pursuits, Nicole works as a sales lead at a retail store, LOFT. This role has helped her develop strong interpersonal and leadership skills, essential for succeeding in any work position in the future. This experience has also reinforced her love for helping others, which she believes complements her interest in personal finance, making her well-suited for a career in wealth management.In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, investing, running, and traveling with her family. Nicole is a very outgoing and dedicated individual, confident that her previous experiences and future endeavors will thoroughly prepare her, both personally and professionally, to enter and excel within the financial services industry.
