ABOUT NICOLEE AMBROSE

Nicolee has been leading teams to achieve ambitious goals for nearly 20 years. As a government affairs expert, Nicolee has led Public Policy relations and communications teams to deliver policy change. Nicolee is a skilled communicator, writer, and content creator for a range of media outlets including trade organizations, policymakers, business organizations, and the press. She has extensive knowledge and experience developing, executing, and managing advocacy programs in complex domestic and global environments; building relationships with key opinion leaders across a broad spectrum of government officials, journalists, and media influencers on Capitol Hill; and cultivating national campaigns at all organizational levels to increase advocacy visibility and advocacy. Nicolee has been a representative of the U.S. Department of State’s Speakers Bureau, where she has been deployed to key allied nations to address current affairs. Nicolee served as the Spokesperson for the Coalition to Stop Genocide in Burma, which was recently declared a “genocide.” Previously, Nicolee was vice president of both a labor and employment law firm, as well as a Fortune 500 membership association. From 2002 through 2008, Nicolee served at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment Standards Administration (DOL). She handled management issues relating to financial management, human resources, contracting, and oversight of programs for DOL\'s largest agency. Key policy and regulatory issues handled included serving as Executive Editor of the 2007 Family and Medical Leave Act Update, and many other regulatory issues affecting America’s workplaces and the American worker.
