Responsibilities include- Maintaining accounting records in Quickbooks- Account reconciliations - Accounts payable & receivable- Financial reporting and budgeting- Creating and maintaining accounting policies and procedures and implementing controls- External audit and Form 990 filing liaison with external accountant- Federal, state and local filing compliance- Nonprofit tax donation receipts to donors- Payroll processing, including federal, state and local filings- Benefits administration for SIMPLE 401(k) and group health plan- Employee performance management- New hire onboarding and employee record management- Maintaining employee handbook and creating policies and procedures
