Senior advisor and trusted partner to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors overseeing all legal and risk issues stemming from the commercial activity of the business including marketing, sales, compliance, clinical, and operations. Responsible for all legal advice and corporate governance in connection with status as a publicly traded company, including preparation of filings and disclosures with the SEC. Advise on company transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and joint venture agreements. Provide counsel on complex litigation and dispute resolution, including securities litigation. Manage the company\'s regulatory risks and act as a primary contact to various regulatory agencies. Oversee employment law issues relating to unionization, discrimination, harassment, and executive compensation. Responsible for company’s information security policies and compliance with data protection laws and patient health information regulations. Set strategy and vision for areas of expertise. Cost effectively manage outside counsel, budget, and billing.
