We foster and deliver results that advance the economic, environmental and social bottom line of organizations.Nicole, a licensed professional engineer, became an RRS Partner and General Manager in 2007, Chief Operating Officer in 2009 and is currently a Senior Team Member and Vice-President.Nicole is RRS’ leading health care program director, facilities waste and resource manager, organics program designer and construction management engineer. She has an extensive knowledge of engineering, sustainable infrastructure and green building, pollution prevention, resource management as well as equipment procurement and specifications for all types of green projects. The goals of these programs are to plan and implement corporate sustainability, waste, recycling and organics programs to reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies and increase awareness and compliance. Nicole has trained compost site operators in Michigan since 2002 and has served on national and local compost regulatory review committees to encourage composting and food waste diversion from the landfill. Nicole is servced 5 years on the Washtenaw Food Policy Council, 4 years as chair, and is actively working with universities, healthcare systems and private organizations to reduce their waste streams and build capacity for management of food scraps.Nicole graduated from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in 1995 with a Bachelors in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Nicole has a Professional Engineer\'s (PE) license and is a Certified Compost Operations Manager (CCOM) through the US Composting Council. Nicole is a Master Gardener, Master Composter, Girl Scout Leader and mother of one and enjoys cooking, gardening, volunteering in the community, outdoor activities and travel.
