About Nicole Benson

With over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry, I am a platform engineer who is passionate about web and multimedia management, problem-solving, and social networking. I currently work at Vanguard, one of the world\'s largest investment management companies, where I foster close collaboration with external vendors and clients, and establish secure connections for the transfer of files using AWS or Axway. Prior to my current role, I was involved in several tech-central project initiatives at Vanguard, where I successfully adhered to project deadlines, engaged in close collaboration with project team members, and provided support to senior managers and department leaders. I also led the transition of departments from Office 2013 to Microsoft ProPlus 2016, achieving a 54% completion rate as of May 2021. In addition, I completed a 10-month internship as a project manager assistant, where I gained valuable skills in tracking project performance, identifying project scopes, risks, and deadlines, preparing and filing documents, and using ServiceNow and SharePoint to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. I also demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills by maintaining a professional demeanor and defining clear targets and objectives.
