About Nicole Baxter
Nicole is an interior designer and construction coach, with over 30 years of experience in design and construction. She is currently training to become a trauma-informed life coach to integrate trauma-responsive principles into the design process. Nicole created the of the Neuroaesthetics of Home theory, in 2017, which established the foundation for the neuroaesthetics movement in interior design. Her work explores how beauty, environment, and emotional regulation intersect to create spaces that support well-being and daily life. What started as personal curiosity has become an industry-wide, multi-dimensional framework — one that challenged the industry to think bigger, go deeper, and design for the full spectrum of our well-bing. She continues to advance it by focusing on how our homes influence emotional safety, connection, resilience, nd recovery. Through her coaching and design services, she helps individuals and families create environments that reflect their values and support their emotional needs.
