Lead and manage a team of 70-80 Student Engagement Specialists, 7-15 Student Supervisors, 1-4 Lead Supervisors and one Student Support and Training Specialist. • Oversee all student staffing operations executed by the Student Training and Support Specialist. • Recruiting, hiring, training and managing the Student Engagement Specialist (SES) team of 70-80 current Ohio State students. • Developing and executing operational plans for the student team including scheduling, training, recruitment efforts, scripting/strategy and day to day responsibilities & structures. • Planning and executing professional development and networking opportunities for the Student Specialist and Supervisor teams. These opportunities include, but are not limited to: campus connections and tours, speakers series, workshops and more. • Promoting, training and managing a team of Student Supervisors (supes) from the current SES team of 7-15 students. Promoting an additional 1-4 supervisors to Lead Student Supervisor to assist in leading the supervisor team. • Training supe team on coaching, leadership, metrics, and any other necessary and relevant topics needed for the position and betterment of the Engagement Center. • Collaborating with the Engagement Center\'s Data team to strategize and execute outreach that meets and exceeds our yearly projections and goals. • Collaborating with the Director of Engagement and Marketing Operations to ensure all team operations are working as efficiently and productively as possible. This ranges from software/equipment maintenance to coordinating cross-team collaborations. • Working collaboratively with OSUAA staff to develop and implement assessment, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship fundraising programs targeting existing and prospective donors.

Hi, I’m Nicole! I thrive on creating and running programs that have an impact. Over the past five years as a manager at the Ohio State Alumni Association\'s Engagement Center, I’ve spent my time building a student program that develops future leaders and strengthens alumni and constituent connections. I am passionate about the opportunity afforded by higher education, student engagement, and alumni relations. My career started as a freshman at Ohio State when I took on a student role on campus—and I’ve been passionate about this work ever since. Nearly 10 years later, I’ve combined that hands-on experience with leadership and management skills to build programs and teams that thrive. From creating a student engagement program from the ground up to mentoring future leaders, I bring proven expertise and a deep understanding of what drives success in student development and alumni engagement. I also serve as Vice President of the Block O Alumni Society and volunteer as a photographer with OSUAA—keeping Buckeye pride front and center! When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll find me in Grandview Heights with my husband (we met at OSU!) and our three cats.
