Lessoncast helps schools bring equity-related professional learning into classroom practice. Our organization supports education leaders by sharing the knowledge, strategies, and tools needed to provide impactful professional learning for their teachers. We recognize that teaching is hard work, and professional development is an underutilized resource that – when designed skillfully – serves to refuel and reignite educators, so that they empower students and meet educational outcomes more equitably. There are few places for education leaders to develop and refine their skills to design and deliver research-based, professional learning opportunities and supports for teachers. Lessoncast provides a range of resources focused on helping leaders employ high-impact professional development: the art and science of mobilizing people to do important work differently.
