Acts as an internal consultant to provide strategic expertise to Business Analysts and business teams. Works with other IT and business process team members to translate and map requirements into system design. Coordinates with developers and external partners on the development and delivery process. • Possesses expertise in several business areas, as well as a deep understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities. Leads decision-making and may lead and mentor small teams. Facilitates the optimization of business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology. • Responsible for actively resolving day-to-day technology needs of the business unit with a focus on the analysis of processes—dissecting problems and suggesting solutions. • Applies advanced technical principles, theories and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts. • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. • Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Work checked through consultation and agreement with others. • Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. • Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
