About Nicole Stacy
I am Nikki Stacy, a Registered Nurse May 2020 graduate from the Accelerated 16 month Nursing Program at Regis College in Weston, MA. My path in nursing has not been a direct one… but I am a licensed healthcare professional with advanced leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. My goal is to make a positive impact with my patients and colleagues. With my applicable hands-on experiences inside and outside of healthcare (combined with my passion for nursing), I am able to do so. I am in a specialized field of nursing. Specifically,I am a Burn/Trauma ICU nurse. In late April of 2021 I began my Critical Care Burn Unit Residency training at UNC Health in chapel hill… I am taking my critical thinking skills and wound-healing knowledge to the 2nd largest Burn Center in the country (Phoenix, AZ). From my peers and supervisors I am known for my upbeat and warming character, multitasking skills, and leadership. It was my work as a Health Science Graduate with a concentration in community health and wellness promotion that fueled my pursuit of a career in the field of medicine. As a graduate from Keene State College, I have gained significant knowledge of environmental, socioeconomic, and personal factors that influence the health of individuals and populations. By volunteering with teams in Peru and Belize, I learned how to adapt and manage challenging conditions and prepare mobile clinics to provide health care for hundreds of people of different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
