I am currently employed as Director of Strategic Communications for Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest healthcare system in Texas. Prior to joining Baylor Scott & White, I served as the Director of Corporate Communications and Manager of Executive Communications at Tenet Healthcare (NYSE:THC), a diversified healthcare services company that operates acute care hospitals, short-stay surgical hospitals and outpatient centers in the United States. Prior to joining Tenet in July 2015, I served as Sr. Communications Manager at MedAssets (NASDAQ:MDAS), a healthcare performance improvement company that helps healthcare organizations reduce the total cost of care, align clinical delivery, improve revenue performance and enhance operational efficiency. I am currently a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). I received my BA in journalism from the University of Mississippi and my MA in journalism and mass communications from the University of Georgia.
