About Nicole So
Growing up with a nurse for a father and a data processor for a mother definitely influenced me on being detail-oriented and precise. Also, as a first-generation American my immigrant parents and grandparents instilled a hard work ethic that I carry with me. In college, I was lucky to be located in beautiful San Luis Obispo where my skills were sharpened in the wedding industry as a Day Of Coordinator and an Office Manager. After moving to the Bay Area, I decided to jump into data analytics and never looked back. Starting at the bottom in Colliers\' San Jose Research Department allowed me to familiarize myself with not only commercial real estate but the Bay Area in general (being an LA-native). My progression in the Research Department at Colliers has allowed me to further display my skills as having great attention to detail, working on a cohesive team, prioritizing projects, and ultimately ensuring data accuracy and spreading that information to the world. As the Research Manager, it has been my privilege to manage the best CRE research team in Silicon Valley, but also to assist and improve processes in order to cement Colliers as the premier source of commercial real estate research in the Bay Area.
