About Nicole Shiu

I lead Technical Sourcing/Talent Intelligence at Crusoe, supporting hiring across AI infrastructure and cloud engineering. My work sits at the intersection of recruiting strategy, market intelligence, and systems building, helping teams move faster while maintaining a high bar for talent.I’ve spent the past several years working on highly specialized areas of infrastructure hiring, including distributed systems, networking, storage, virtualization, and AI compute. I enjoy tackling ambiguous searches, building pipelines in niche domains, and partnering closely with engineering leaders to translate technical needs into effective hiring strategies. I also step in to run full-cycle searches for critical or highly specialized roles when needed.In my current role, I lead a growing team of technical sourcers and focus on building the systems that support our hiring efforts, including sourcing frameworks, talent intelligence workflows, and internal tools that improve how we research markets, evaluate talent, and track hiring progress.I’m particularly interested in how AI can augment recruiting. Much of my recent work has focused on experimenting with AI-assisted workflows and building reusable tools that help recruiting teams operate more efficiently and scale their impact.Earlier in my career, I worked across agency and in-house environments, including Meta and Roblox.
