I research laws and policies within the criminal legal system that result in racial inequities and advocate for reforms to those laws and policies that will advance racial justice in Chicago and Illinois. I also supervise students on research, law and policy analysis, and advocacy; organize conferences, workshops, and seminars for university and community stakeholders; and, starting spring 2025, will assist in teaching DePaul Law\'s Croak Community Legal Clinic.
