ABOUT NICOLE SCHERSCHUN
Who am I? As a former journalist and media expert, I’ve worked for TV, radio, and online media outlets, traveling the world to report from countries like Kenya, South Africa, Mali, India, and Australia. With experience in storytelling, strategic communications, and building networks, I now focus on corporate communication, impact partnerships, and event management at JOBLINGE. My work spans both external and internal communications, securing funding to help more young people enter apprenticeships and jobs while amplifying JOBLINGE’s mission through our website, newsletters, social media, media outreach, and internal messaging. My role also involves planning events for partners, creating workshops and events for JOBLINGE staff. Why JOBLINGE? JOBLINGE empowers disadvantaged youth to break the cycle of unemployment and build self-determined lives through tailored coaching, real job opportunities, and long-term placements. With a unique collaboration of private, public, and volunteer sectors, we’ve supported over young people to earn apprenticeships or jobs. As a social franchise system, we work to expand this concept across Germany, ensuring every region in need can benefit from our work.
