ABOUT NICOLE RONAN

With over 14 years at AstraZeneca, I’ve progressed from a Business & Administration Apprentice to my current role as Process Improvement Lead, gaining experience across a range of operational and project-focused roles within UK Operations Packing. My career has included supporting senior teams as a Personal Assistant, managing artwork and compliance as an Artwork Coordinator, and more recently, driving continuous improvement and change initiatives across the department. A highlight of my work has been leading a proactive improvement programme within the packing area. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I focus on simplifying processes, reducing errors and waste, and creating sustainable improvements that genuinely support both our operations and the people who run them. I’m known for building strong relationships, communicating clearly, and supporting teams through a collaborative and empowering style. Ensuring people feel involved, informed, and confident in the changes we make is important to me, because that’s where lasting progress happens. Looking ahead, I’m keen to continue developing as a subject matter expert in process simplification, project leadership, and eventually programme leadership. I’m always exploring practical, smarter, and more automated ways to improve how we work, so we can deliver the best outcomes for our teams, our business, and ultimately the patients who rely on us.
