Collaborate with our culinary team and community farmers and producers to increase local and sustainable food and product purchasing. Develop digital content to educate and inspire our UVM community to explore their food values and learn more about where their food comes from. Manage the UVM Dining Ecoware (reusable container) program to reduce single-use containers on campus as well as educate students on proper waste sorting and composting. Oversee the implementation of the UVM Swipe Out Hunger program and serve as the co-chair for the UVM Food Insecurity Working Group, an interdisciplinary group to address food insecurity and access on campus. Engage with a variety of student groups on campus to ensure that we are providing adequate dining options for all, including vegetarian/vegan, allergen-free, and culturally appropriate foods. Coordinate programming and curriculum development in the Discovery Kitchen, the UVM Dining teaching kitchen. Preceptor for the UVM Masters of Dietetics and Masters of Food Systems programs
