As the co-founder and CEO of the Material Innovation Initiative, I lead all aspects of the organization including market analysis, strategic planning, fundraising, operations, communications, metrics tracking and analysis, business development, and client management. Under my leadership, we grew our client portfolio of top fashion, automotive, and material companies growing from 0 to 200 clients within 3 years. I grew the company from a 2 person team with no budget to a 12 person team with a $2.5m budget in 3 years; developed an extensive qualitative and quantitative metrics tracking system; and evaluated, implemented, and oversaw all of the day-to-day operations of the organization including strategy, human resources, finance, development, communications, legal, insurance, and programs. In addition, I developed and oversaw all aspects of our annual webinar program and annual conferences reaching an average of 250 industry executives each. I also serve as one of the leading voices for next-gen materials internationally.
