   Reporting to an Area Manager, the Transition Specialist (TS) is primarily a service provider of Hire Heroes USA’s Client Services to active-duty service members, veterans, and military spouses. The TS functions as the primary support to clients providing coaching on pre-and post-employment. The TS provides informed mentorship related to future career planning and skill-building in support of client’s job market readiness, addressing career discovery and decision-making, experience development, personal branding, networking, and job search feedback. The TS will act as an advocate of the program to external stakeholders and a subject matter expert on all matters related to the military transition process. Most of the TS time will be spent interacting with clients in person, on the phone, or via email, to educate the client on effective job search techniques, improve the client’s resume, develop the client’s interview skills, and assist with job placement, when able. The successful candidate should possess career coaching, resume writing, public speaking, and outreach experience.
