I felt the need to make bigger change happen on a larger scale. I went to law school to explore how the integration of another tool might support that (impact capital raising, anyone?). And somewhere along the way, I found a groove with the then-emerging fields of social enterprise and impact investing. My focus shifted from a particular social issue to the need for total systems change.With a decade of program development in the social change and human rights sectors, and another decade in social enterprise and investment legal and consulting work under my belt, I\'ve cultivated an unparalleled set of tools to help people redefine how they think about solving social problems—and then to craft and implement strategies that do something about it.While my definition of \"impact\" has softened over the years to create a bigger bucket, the underlying sentiment remains the same: helping good people put more good into the world.
