ABOUT NICOLE MAYWAH
Nicole Maywah is an Environmental Specialist Consultant with 17 years of experience with international organizations and environmental consulting firms. She has 12.5 years of experience applying World Bank environmental strategies and safeguard policies to a range of investment projects and activities from diverse sectors in Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC), Africa, East Asia & the Pacific and South Asia. Her primary area of expertise is water infrastructure with experience initially as a Junior Professional preparing and supervising urban and rural water and sanitation projects and later as an Environmental Specialist for water projects with the World Bank in LAC. Later she went on to (and continues to) serve as an Environmental Specialist Consultant on projects from multiple sectors including: water, land administration, education, cultural heritage, agriculture, health and energy. Prior to joining the World Bank, Ms. Maywah served as an Environmental Scientist with the two environmental engineering and consulting firms, Montgomery Watson and Tetra Tech on water infrastructure/resource and policy activities. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies where her focal area was Water: Science, Policy and Management. Finally, Ms. Maywah also has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College.
