About Nicole Matuska
I am an independent self-starter with over ten years of experience in the non-profit sector, specifically sport for development and girls/women’s empowerment through sport. Specializing in curriculum/program design and development as well as project management, I have facilitated cross-cultural groups on topics related to gender, sport, leadership, storytelling and human-centered design.I am currently the U.S. Director at Women Win, a global non-profit leader in gender equity through sport. We leverage the power of play to help girls build leadership and become better equipped to exercise their rights. In this role, I have had the opportunity to travel to over 30 countries on three continents leading trainings and providing strategic consulting to organizational staff and coaches of sport for social change organizations advancing the rights of girls and women.
