I\'m Nicole!In 2014 I received my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. A year later I received my Masters Degree in the same topic from the same institution. Over the course of my 5 years at WPI I learned a great deal of information in many concentrations of Mechanical Engineering. I acquired my first job at Saint Gobain Abrasives in Worcester, MA and where I began my career as a Project Engineer, focusing on lean manufacturing practices and machining upgrades.In 2017 I shifted professional gears and entered the railway business when I became a mechanical design engineer for CRRC MA Corporation. CRRC is a Chinese company best known for their status as the world\'s largest Railway Transportation Equipment and Service Provider. In 2014 CRRC was awarded their first contract in the United States by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Since that award, the company has built an office in the United States under the title \"CRRC MA\" where we are now working on projects for the cities of Boston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia throughout all phases of the project. I was lucky enough to earn a position on the commissioning teams for both the orange line and red line vehicles that now reliably serve the public.In 2021 I decided to push myself to enter the project management side of the business and joined Keolis Commuter Services as the Configuration Manager leading the company through engineering change, configuration management and life cycle maintenance. The goal here is to institute proactive changes to improve reliability of our revenue service to the Greater Boston community.New update in 2023 - I\'m very excited to announce that I have joined HNTB in their vehicles group to work as a project manager. In this role I will focus on producing top tier work from my team on current contracts as well as winning new contracts to increase HNTB\'s reputation in the industry.
