These is not one thing I do not love about working in Human Resources (HR). I have worked in many different areas of our company. My experience includes a wide range of skills and knowledge related to retail grocery, management and leadership skills, collective bargaining agreements, benefits administration, personnel paperwork, compensation administration, local, state, and federal law, and team member relations. After almost 15 years working in the retail management side of grocery, I moved into HR over ten years ago and never looked back. Since moving my career into the HR world, I have attended classes on a diverse number of subjects related to HR, completed numerous seminars and webinars, and worked tirelessly to ensure I am up on the most current HR laws and trends related to my areas of responsibilities. It is an absolute pleasure to work with our team each day. I am always looking at how we can ensure our team is healthy, happy, and enjoy coming to work each day. My thoughts are that HR should be a resource and support. a partner in enriching their daily work life!

   I work in the area of onboarding, assuming primary responsibility of the entire preemployment process. This includes in-person facilitation of engaging and interactive New Team Member Orientation. I also work with our team member benefits program, performing day-to-day administration functions, including managing Open Enrollment events. I work to have a deep understanding of our benefits plans in order to serve our team members with information that is friendly, approachable, and useful for their day-to-day life. In addition to my responsibilities with the preemployment process and benefits, I support with the day-to-day administration tasks and data entry.I have multilayered experience in human resources that spans over the last ten years, and covers significant and important areas of human resources.
