About Nicole Maksimovic
Grounded in my cognitive science work at the University of Chicago, including lab work with leaders Nick Epley and John List, finding out how users make decisions and weigh influences fascinates me. Strong research skills and a passion for exploring the voice of the customer combine with my collaborative bent, and have contributed to successful product launches for new drug treatments.I delight in the process of connecting the dots, and pulling all the pieces together to inform the creative process: linking outcomes from focus groups, surveys, desk research, interviews, A/B testing, and turning simple, boots-on-the-ground observation into a cohesive story.I\'ve focused on behavioral economics, studying all the factors that play into choice-making across a wide variety of industries and products, from the high-science pharma world to popular CPG brands, but the key through-line has always been my audience-first mentality. My recent work has included deft balancing of the requirements of a regulated industry with prioritizing the user experience.
