About Nicole M. Gaudelli
Highly-motivated research scientist with a formal training in mechanistic enzymology and biosynthesis of natural products. Following her doctoral work, she became a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, and was under the advisement of Prof. David R. Liu. Here she developed the first molecular machine capable of catalyzing A:T to G:C transition mutations in human gDNA in a programmable manner without double-strand DNA breaks (\"ABE\"). She is excited to continue to develop genome editing CRISPR/Cas9 tools and technologies in an effort to correct human pathogenic diseases.
