   As the first grade, grade level lead, I am responsible for driving learning and teaching within my own class and within the grade, while fostering collaborative practices among classroom teachers. I create lesson plans for all subject areas and determine what areas of the curriculum best suit the scholars within our classrooms.Work collaboratively with other Grade Level Lead Teachers and Senior Leadership TeamMembers- Teach whole-class and lead smaller group instruction using a knowledge and inquiry-based,conceptual accelerated curriculum- Inspire intellectual curiosity and love of learning that results in all students exceeding a year’sworth of academic growth- Collaborate and use data to create Personal Learning Pathways for scholars, and continually monitor progress towards targets, adjusting instruction as required- Work collaboratively across grades and within grade levels to teach students of a variety ofages/grades and abilities throughout the day- Lead planning meetings with an emphasis on supporting teachers in practicing theirdelivery of content with each other-An active participant in creating and maintaining a positive school culture for colleagues, students, and families- Use regular ‘touch points’ to foster and maintain relationships with students, and parents, to leverage accelerated academic outcomes.
