ABOUT NICOLE LEGG

I received my MSc and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Victoria, and a Registered Psychologist in the province of BC (R.Psych #04078). I currently divide my time providing psychological assessments and treatment at private clinics in Vancouver BC, providing corporate mental health talks in the community, and running my company - WellIntel. I am the co-founder an CEO of WellIntel, a data-driven wellness solutions company that provides wellness talks, workshops, consultation, and research & assessment services to organizations. At WellIntel, we believe in the power of education and using evidence-based approaches to proactively address wellness at the organizational level. As a clinician, I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches to address anxiety and mood-related disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as engagement in high risk behaviours including suicide, self-injury, and disordered eating. I also provide ADHD and diagnostic psychological assessments for adolescents and adults. My graduate research focused on identifying risk factors for engagement in risky behaviors and understanding the function and experiences surrounding such behaviors, with an emphasis on disordered eating. Within my research, I specialized in utilizing intensive sampling methods (e.g, multiple assessments per day) through digital health technologies, such as smartphone apps or wearable fitness trackers.
