About Nicole Kanowsky
I am currently pursuing a B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Studio Art, as well as a double minor in Construction Science & Management and Architecture at Clemson University. In my art, I often explore my love of design and the outdoors. I am passionate about sustainable residential design and community planning. I have chosen to study these topics in pursuit of a well-rounded education that will benefit my future success the design industry following my graduation from Clemson University in December 2026.

Spent one week on-site at the Deckers Corporation headquarters in Goleta, California, shadowing the UGG design team and Hoka founder- Gained first-hand experience and insight that aided me in answering the question: “What are fashion trends, and where do they come from?” This question served as my essential question during a year-long research project on fashion trend forecasting, which I completed during my senior year of high school
