Calo is a specialized set of treatment settings focusing on the issues of emotional regulation, developmental trauma and attachment. Our Calo Preteen programs serve ages 9-14. Our Calo Teen programs serve ages 14-18 and our Calo Transition homes for emerging young adults serve ages 17-20. A large part of the student population is adopted (over 90% depending on the program). Our proprietary CASA treatment model is utilized. Core Treatment interventions include: Animal Assisted Therapy, Canine Therapy, Neurotherapies, Brainspotting, Adventure/recreation therapy, Occupational therapy, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga and fully integrated psychiatry.
