Provide direct patient care support across multiple hospital departments, including Orthopedic Surgery, Neuro-Telemetry, and 2-Medical. Rotations have provided hands-on experience with post-operative recovery, neurological monitoring, and management of complex medical conditions such as cardiac events, diabetes, and respiratory distress, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance and delivering compassionate care.Currently rotating in the NICU and Couplet Care unit, supporting nurses and physicians in providing care for newborns, including premature and medically fragile infants. Assist with monitoring vital signs, feeding support, and ensuring a safe, comforting environment for both infants and mothers. Gain hands-on experience in postnatal care, newborn assessments, and parent education while maintaining sterile procedures, patient privacy, and compassionate family-centered care.
