Responsible for the design and implementation of the current SMSTA’s safety management system as relates to the OPITO Standard, OPITO course design, implementation, training aids and delivery of curriculum.Responsible for the design and implementation of SMSTA’s Sea Survival and HUET curriculum as relates to general Industry• Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs as per the standard• Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for OPITO, STCW,API and other industry related courses as applies to the aforementioned disciplines• Plan, develop and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
