ABOUT NICOLE CARANGELO

I am a fifth-year Law student in the Master’s Degree program at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna.I completed a legal internship at Lexjus Sinacta, where I was involved in both judicial and extrajudicial activities. My work focused on contract law, privacy and artificial intelligence, corporate and labour law, as well as the preparation and analysis of legal documents. I assisted in corporate due diligence processes, litigation related to software and AI solutions with particular attention to compliance under the AI Act and GDPR, legal consultancy in labour law, and advisory activities concerning corporate welfare programs. I also supported the management of client relationships, working closely with the firm’s professionals.I am a JEBO – Junior Enterprise Bologna alumna, where I worked on legal research, contract drafting and legal support for consulting projects in the events, digital and financial sectors. I also collaborate with ELSA Bologna, where I deepened my knowledge of Legal Prompting, an emerging field at the intersection of artificial intelligence and law, aimed at optimizing legal research and analysis.Thanks to my legal and linguistic background, I am able to analyze regulations and contracts in multiple languages, facilitating interaction in international and multicultural contexts. I have a strong interest in mediation and negotiation, developed through a mediation seminar with a practical simulation at the University of Bologna.I am passionate about media and video games
