Work with global cross-functional teams to source and negotiate customized quality relevant production equipment projects-A member of the Global Production Equipment team to build global synergies and agreements-Educating and training global counter parts of the US Production Equipment process and policies-Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders with significant sourcing responsibility; provide oversight of all high-dollar, complex, capital quality relevant custom internal manufacturing production equipment and production lines-Streamline all processes related to the sourcing and purchasing of capital internal manufacturing production equipment and quality relevant process-Review Fiscal Year Capital Budget Spend Analysis-Ensure supplier selection and perform risk analysis of all new quality relevant production equipment suppliers prior to project consideration-Develop and administer competitive Request for Proposal packages for customized internal manufacturing production equipment with selected suppliers; negotiate commercial requirements for final supplier proposals and agreements, balancing the business relationship and evaluating risk -Work with various internal organizations including Engineering, Legal, Risk Management, Finance, Quality, Environmental Health and Safety and Corporate Compliance to ensure the process for continual review of contractual, data and risk management are met-Manage key strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness with focus on the Theory of Constraints methodology; conduct yearly reviews with key suppliers to measure performance against contractual standards and performance expectations -Analyze manufacturing production equipment market, supply and demand trends -End of fiscal year reporting on performance and commodity savings
