I lead the strategic direction and daily execution of over $11.3M in active federally funded research, overseeing five ongoing, multi-institutional studies in behavioral health, developmental science, and public health. I manage the full study lifecycle, from protocol design and operational implementation to data strategy, financial planning, and team leadership.As the primary regulatory liaison across two academic institutions, I manage IRB operations for 11 active protocols. This includes initial submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, adverse event reporting, and audit preparation. I’ve completed two audits with no major findings.I build and lead cross-functional research teams, from undergraduates and clinical staff to MD/PhD-level collaborators, across academic and clinical settings. I manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development with an emphasis on mentorship, collaboration, and accountability.I also lead data infrastructure and harmonization across four longitudinal prenatal cohort studies. I integrate diverse, multi-modal datasets across differing protocols, timelines, and exposures. I develop SOPs, ensure quality control, and manage milestone delivery in line with sponsor requirements.In addition to operational leadership, I contribute to competitive grant development and post-award strategy. I authored a successful $74.5K supplement to support a full-year research position, secured $50K in foundation funding for infrastructure upgrades, and submitted multiple No-Cost Extension requests, securing two three-year extensions and managing a second-year extension currently in progress.I manage detailed, multi-year budgets across all five active studies, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and strategic resource allocation. I’ve successfully executed multiple spend-downs in compliance with sponsor expectations and institutional requirements.
