About Nicole Barth
I am a Marine Corps veteran, reservist, and J.D. Candidate, Class of 2028, at George Washington University Law School. I look forward to building on the leadership and problem-solving skills developed during my military service while continuing to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve. As a Logistics Officer in the Marine Corps, I had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including Maintenance Management Officer, Motor Transport Platoon Commander, Executive Officer, and Assistant Operations Officer. Each role sharpened my ability to lead teams, manage complex systems, and adapt quickly under pressure. I also served in collateral duties such as Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate, Physical Security Officer, Body Composition Program Manager, and Operations Security Officer, giving me a deeper understanding of policy, ethics, and organizational accountability. These opportunities fueled my interest in the law, particularly in areas related to national security, government procurement and public service. I look forward to combining my military background with my legal education to continue making a positive impact in a different capacity. Before commissioning as an officer in the Marine Corps, I earned a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Leadership and Organizational Development. These academic foundations sparked my passion for tackling complex challenges and driving meaningful improvements in processes and systems.I’m always open to connecting with people in the legal, national security, military, and defense sectors. Whether you’re a fellow veteran, a current law student, or a professional in any of those areas, I would be glad to connect.
