Passionate about patient-centered care, health education, and bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility, I am a 4th year at the University of Florida majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Public Health with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.With two years of experience as a Medical Assistant, I have gained hands-on clinical exposure, strengthened my patient communication skills, and developed a deep appreciation for the collaborative nature of healthcare. Through this role, I have worked closely with providers, assisted with procedures, and learned the importance of compassionate, efficient patient care.Beyond my clinical experience, I serve as the Dermatology Coordinator for the Equal Access Clinic Network, where I help connect underserved populations with essential dermatological care, reinforcing my commitment to healthcare equity. My research on misconceptions about the PA profession further reflects my dedication to improving health literacy and patient education.I also participated in a six-week enrichment program that expanded my knowledge in various healthcare fields, enhanced my clinical skills, and strengthened my ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.With a background in athletics and a love for hands-on learning, I approach challenges with discipline, adaptability, and a drive to grow.
