About Nicolás Andrés Manzanera
As a Colombian international student-athlete, my journey has taken me from Colombia to Spain to the U.S, competing and leading in diverse basketball environments. This global experience shaped my adaptability, resilience, and leadership, qualities I bring into fast-paced, high-pressure environments.Beyond the court, I am a senior at Lawrence University, majoring in Business and Entrepreneurship. I recently completed an AI-driven internship with an M&A consulting firm, where I led process improvements to enhance investor sourcing and client acquisition. I also designed a comprehensive AI training presentation that improved team productivity and is now a core part of the firm’s operations. These experiences highlight my ability to leverage data-driven solutions and team leadership to drive efficiency and results—critical in both M&A and sports consulting.Currently, I am passionate about pursuing opportunities in M&A, management, and sports consulting, with a strong focus on strategy, business development, investor relations, community engagement, and operational improvements. As co-presidents, we serve as Midwest Conference representatives and commit to all scheduled events. We are responsible for communicating with internal and external organizations, as needed.
