   Lead, manage, and provide guidance for pricing strategies to the Deal Desk Analysts team in a fast-paced environment to ensure they are providing high quality sales support to win deals, while also ensuring Xerox is obtaining the highest revenue available •Provide presidential empowerment for escalation purposes between our direct sales stakeholders and deal desk analysts to make a final decision on lower margin deals •Implemented new deal desk improvements and operational strategy in working deals, including the following: 1) Usage of data driven competitive pricing tools 2) Open dialog with sales (which the deal desk did not have before) 3) Set questions to ask sales to understand the total scope of the deal and the competitors we are against (to ensure we are competing on an apples-to-apples comparison) 4) Providing quick turnaround back to sales, as there was a lag prior to me starting. 5) Set margin expectations with the deal desk team, which helps capture the revenue the organization needs to be profitable •Built relationships among sales leadership, Finance, Legal, Product Management, and our Distribution team. We work together to think strategically with building proposals that is financially sound for our organization while putting sales in a position for success • Strong ability to balance the financial needs of the organization with the needs of sales to help secure the opportunities • Work with the rest of the Pricing organization to improve our robotic automation process for approvals on our smaller deal opportunities. This allows the team to have more time to focus with sales on our more complex deal strategy related opportunities • Built a historical pricing process for the bid desk to quickly locate proven winning prices based on claim history • Extract Data Sources to analyze pricing trends and pricing that allowed us to have success previously, which helps influence decisions on new opportunities while they are being worked on
