ABOUT NICOLAS SABOGAL

Senior Finance & Strategy Executive with enterprise accountability for a $2.5B public company. Trusted partner to CEOs, CFOs, Boards, and Division Presidents in translating strategy into execution through disciplined FP & A, capital allocation, data analytics, and performance management. Currently as Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Analytics, I oversee enterprise planning, analytics, and capital governance, partnering with Corporate Executives and Business Leaders in the development and execution of the strategic plans to deliver annualized EBITDA improvement for the North West Company, an exciting and historic retail company with a community focus: To help people live better. I bring a strategy-to-execution mindset and a strong operating cadence focused on sustainable shareholder value. To deliver, I focus on bringing a data-driven approach to execution while aligning strategy, operations, and financial discipline across the value chain. Ultimately it is about making a positive impact in the customers and communities we serve. I joined the company in 2019 as Director of Business Development in the International Retail operations, where I worked with a fantastic team of people to build growth and analytics strategies for our operations in Alaska, the Caribbean and South Pacific Markets. These strategies were supported with an approach that leveraged strong Financial Planning, Modelling and Scenario Analytics, with key business and markets insight tools to support a holistic decision-making process. Prior to joining North West, I worked for PwC in the United States with the Financial Markets practice, where I provided audit and consulting services for a wide array of public, private and government clients across various industries. Before getting transferred to the US from the PwC Colombia office, I also was Head of the Financial Risk Management Department of the Colombian Mercantile Exchange Clearinghouse.
