ABOUT NICOLAS ROBINE
As Senior Director of Computational Biology at New York Genome Center (NYGC), I lead a team of 20 scientists, analysts, and programmers who are dedicated to advancing germline, cancer and functional genomics research. With over 20 years of experience in bioinformatics, I have developed and implemented analytical pipelines and tools for processing and interpreting high-throughput sequencing data.My work has resulted in multiple publications where I have contributed to the development of a best-in-class processing pipeline for tumor-normal WGS data, the identification of a chimeric transcript in a rare liver tumor and several cohort-level analysis of different cancer types (lung adenocarcinoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer etc). I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to uncover the molecular mechanisms and pathways that underlie human diseases and to support the development of precision medicine.
