ABOUT NICOLAS MOTTE
Nico is an international Cybersecurity leader and GRC enthusiast with 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Today he is a CISO and helps companies to become compliant with various security frameworks (FedRAMP, ISO27001, SOC2 Type I and II, GDPR, NIS2, DORA, HIPAA).In his previous job he was CTO & CISO at Talarian, where he focused on building and managing the products roadmaps in collaboration with the business stakeholders to help the company scale, while maintaining the ISO27001 certification. All products were server-less, based on modern technologies and running on Google Cloud. A significant part of his job was also to hire talents and define company-wide processes.Before that he was a member of the CTO Office at Amadeus, a team made up of senior Amadeus technology experts where he has led various global Architecture and Technology leadership functions. Amadeus is a leading SaaS and Service provider for the global travel and tourism industry, it provides comprehensive real-time search, pricing, booking, ticketing and other processing solutions to travel providers and travel agencies, and executes mission-critical business processes, such as reservations, inventory management, flight management and property management. Amadeus is a highly transactional and extremely mission critical SaaS, which is in the middle of its migration to the public cloud. In parallel Nico owned a startup for a few years, developing fun social network applications. He also worked as a freelance with successful startups needing to scale quickly and/or refactor their architecture. Nico holds a Computer Science Diploma from ENSIMAG, France. He is passionate about music, gardening, carpentry and welding.
