About Nicolas Nico Morales Thompson
Hi I am Nico Morales Thompson an alum of Denison University and a life long learner. I have a strong interest in environmental justice, public policy, and law. I am on the path of being an environmental justice lawyer, to mitigate and reduce environmental justice issues around the world. I have interned at several organizations, including the Chispa/League of Conservation Voters, Legal Assistance Center in Namibia and the Brookings Institute. These internships have provided me with valuable experience in policy analysis, legal research, data collection, and community engagement. I have also participated in SLSI (Stanford Law Scholar Institute). This helped helped me engage with some of the brightest pre-law students and Stanford law professors around law school admission process and what law school classes look like. In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I am actively involved in various extracurricular activities. Many of these activities are highlighted through my leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion. I am the founder and treasurer of the Denison Model UN, Vice President and Co-founder of the Pre-Law Society, and treasurer of both La Fuerza Latina and DuWOP Acapella. I have dedication to service, exemplified by my Eagle Scout rank. I am also proficiency in Spanish, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and ArcGIS. Through these diverse experiences, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of environmental issues, public policy, and legal frameworks. I have positioned myself well to eventually become an environmental lawyer.
