About Nicolas Damiano
My name is Nic Damiano, and I am currently a Junior (in Mechanical Engineering) at Slippery Rock University. I major in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Chemistry and Physics and also am a member of the honors college. Academically, I enjoy energy systems and wish to work with them post-graduation as an engineer. Specifically, I wish to use my mechanical engineering and chemistry background to understand and improve energy systems of all types sustainably. Extracurricularly, I am a part of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity, in which I currently hold the position of President. I have held positions of Vice President and New Member Educator prior. I am also a founding member and treasurer for the Student Ambassador Club. For the summer of 2026, I am seeking a Mechanical Engineering (or related field) internship and am open to relocation.
