Four Assist is a development consulting firm specializing in public financial management, governance, and donor-funded program design. It supports institutions like the EU, World Bank, and national governments through policy advice, feasibility studies, and technical assistance.In Cambodia, Four Assist plays a key role in the EU4PFM program, working closely with the Ministry of Economy and Finance on fiscal reform and investment planning. The firm applies tools such as Project Cycle Management, Logical Framework Approach, and the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability framework.As an intern stationed at Cambodia’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, I am charged with drafting a section on the Macroeconomic Eligibility of Cambodia using the Cambodia’s Medium-Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF) by analyzing macroeconomic projections, revenue trends, and expenditure priorities. I am also helping to conduct research on the Cashew Nut Sector Financing, a key initiative aimed at drastically increasing the value addition in Cambodia’s agro-processing sector. Finally, I am exploring links between the EU’s Global Gateway Initiative and EU4PFM objectives, contributing to internal strategy notes that examine how infrastructure-focused development tools can support fiscal reform and industrial policy goals in Cambodia.
