I’m a data scientist and AI engineer with more than a decade of experience turning complex problems into practical, scalable solutions. Today I lead an AI Engineering group, where I focus on building reliable data‑centric products, mentoring junior colleagues, and shaping technical strategy around performance, cost, and long‑term maintainability.My work sits at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and systems design. I enjoy designing microservice‑oriented architectures, deploying robust Docker‑based solutions, and driving CI/CD and MLOps practices (Azure DevOps, MLflow, etc.) that make teams faster and more consistent. Within my organisation, I’m often the go‑to person for Python, AI/ML modelling, and clear technical communication.Before moving fully into data science, I completed a PhD in mechanical/aerospace engineering, specialising in structural testing and fibre‑optic sensing.
