    At the heart of the development of the new SVI3 Double Acting Positioner (ATEX, IECEx certified) used on all Baker Hughes Valves. The SVI is a digital valve positioner using a complex system of magnetic regulation to convert current from HART communication to signal pressure, which get amplified by diaphragms stacks to control pneumatic valves. Lead the mechanical design (machined and plastic molded parts). More progress were made in this project after the 6 months I started then the last 3 years. Fast pace project where design and production are conducted in parallel to fast track introduction to the market. Review and validate vendors (USA, India and China) for new production parts in collaboration with Quality and Sourcing teams. Interact multidisciplinary teams and test team to create test plans, define deliverables then, analyze results.
