ABOUT NICOLAS COLIN
With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, I specialize in Non-Destructive Testing, Process Health Monitoring, and Structural Health Monitoring. My work focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve industrial performance and reliability. Before joining IRT Jules Verne, I spent more than 15 years at Airbus, where I held various positions in France and Germany, including R&D Engineer and Data Analyst. My expertise covers NDT, process and structural monitoring techniques, associated sensors and methods, research project management, and more recently, the automation and robotization of NDT processes. I have contributed to several collaborative R&D projects such as Fantom, Precept, Comete, and Air Cobot, all aimed at improving flexibility, reducing manual intervention, and integrating digital tools into industrial inspection.
